What's between us and Gen-X?

Grups, apparently. I really liked this article, actually-- you should all check it out. We're about 10 years removed from the generation that refuses to grow up, and I'm not sure any of us are any different.

I think Adam Sternbergh hit the nail right on the head though. Everyone's terrified of not being "passionate--" much more than the fear of not being cool. Plus, who wants to wear a suit anyway?
(Well-- except Matt)

Read it, yo. Tell me what you think.

yeah i liked bobos, but you can only do so much in a magazine article. And i think he was reaching for a post-bobo change that's more hipster and less yuppie. it may be a slight distinction, but hey, it's a trend piece. they're notoriously fluffy and tenuous.

know what's crappy? the piece the NYTimes did 2 sundays ago on New York Blonds. I'm not kidding-- they dedicated like 8,000 to bitches spending a lot of money dying their hair, as if it's a trend, or specific to new york. blech.
